FAQ

Who is this for?

Any US small business owner who wants a quick, honest read on whether their bookkeeping can be trusted, before a lender, buyer, or tax season finds out.

What do I upload?

A Profit & Loss export from QuickBooks, Xero, Wave or a spreadsheet (PDF, CSV or XLSX). Add a balance sheet to get cash runway.

Is this tax advice?

No. ScoreMyBooks is an educational diagnostic. It points out things worth asking a professional about; it doesn't tell you what to file.

What happens to my file?

It's processed in memory and deleted right after your report is generated. We don't keep your financial data or use it for training.

How accurate is the grade?

It's based on common bookkeeping problems and typical industry ranges. It can't see your bank statements, so treat it as a smart first look, not an audit.

Refunds?

All sales are final. Payment disputes go through Stripe's standard dispute process. See our Terms.
